Skills are acquired by spending Skill Points (SP) on pages 9 and 10 of Flint's Notebook. Skill Points are received every time Flint levels up, after collecting a certain amount of experience points (XP). XP is obtained from collecting resources, completing quests (?), discovering campsites, building, and repairing broken items around the park.

- Level 3 is reached after collecting 300 XP and will earn Flint with 1 Skill Point
